Bling-a-ding-ding

Ok Ok, I know I'm suffering from newlywed bliss and everyone's probably tired of hearing about it... deal with it LOL ;-)  But I can't really help it!  I just married the love of my life, and every time I look at my rings, I get SO happy!
Here's today's little details!  My engagement ring is from the Vera Wang Love collection, and the ring holder is Vera Wang for Wedgewood.  My wedding band is from Kay Jewelers.  The watch is Marc Jacobs (obviously) and the elephant necklace is a favorite of mine from H&M.  What's your favorite piece of jewelry?

For me or for you?

Goodies for me and gifts for you! What's in my cute little pouches? You'll have to stay tuned to find out! Wouldn't want to ruin someone's Christmas surprise!

If you haven't heard of Chloe + Isabel yet, you're missing out! Being a Mary Kay girl, I love the similarities of the company setup: lifetime guarantee on their products, great customer service and staying up-to-date on trends... all while giving women a chance to run their own business as an independent merchandiser. (Sounds a lot like my pink bubble!)

I was introduced when my friend Kelly became a merchandiser. I've been loving the jewelry, for myself and for gifts. And what better way to spend my money than making sure a small business woman makes some dough off me rather than a large retailer?!

I'll reveal my goodies later! Until then, browse her website! I'm currently obsessed with everything Art Deco! Check it out: http://kellywilliams.chloeandisabel.com

Makeup Monday: Weddings

Love is in the air!! It's bridal season and looking your best on your big day is a must! Remember, whether you're having your makeup done by a professional or you're a do-it-yourself-er, bridal makeup must be applied differently than every day makeup. Priming and concealing must take priority to ensure your photographs capture exactly what you want them to!

The best tip I can give is to schedule a dry run with your makeup artist at least one month before the wedding, or to hold your own dry run at home. You may think it is perfectly fine to go in cold turkey on your wedding day, especially when you hire a professional, but you never know! Put yourself at ease by having your skincare routine and makeup look selected and tested ahead of time! This will guarantee your big day goes smoothly, your makeup will last and your pictures will look great!

I personally meet with all of my brides around the same time they are shopping for a dress. This ensures that we have plenty of time to work out a perfectly personalized skincare routine (remember to perfect that "canvas") and allows us to play with multiple makeup looks. I actually require a consultation prior to the wedding day; I do not show up on a wedding day having never spoken to or worked with my customers. I want to know your skin and what works for you, and I want to know how I can complete YOUR vision for your day!

To schedule your complimentary consultation including gift certificate, please email me your name, phone number and the best time to reach you :-)
